Have you seen the Last Samurai? If you have you may remember the conversation held in this temple. Shoshazan Engyoji Temple, in Himeji City was one of the locations for the shooting of the film. The temple was built in 966.[ http://www.shosha.or.jp/ ]

During New Year's week many young people are coming to this temple to see the location where the movie was filmed. They are also remembering traditions (see New Year) as they visit the shrine and find their fortunes and luck for the coming year.
