Midosuji Parade OsakaThe Midosuji Parade, an international event, originally was planned to be part of the Osaka 21st Century Plan - to create an international city attractive to people from all over the world.

The parade travels down Midosuji, Osaka's Main Street lined with beautiful gingko trees as well as all the best-known department stores and office buildings.

The fall classic features a variety of international participants and their respective performances. Around 100 performing groups take part, with floats, marching bands, baton twirlers and groups from all over the world. Enormous effort is put into creating spectacular costumes, floats and artwork.
