Steroids are an issue that have plagued professional sports for far too long. Few Sports are unaffected by its wide reach, and more people are deciding to cheat everyday. For that is simply what steroids are: cheating. Athletes used to have integrity, but nowadays, with sports contracts reaching the hundreds of millions, they will do anything to get an edge. Even sports such as basketball and hockey where speed and agility are valued over strength have their share of dirty cheaters. |
