Some new works

""A commissioned
art piece

"I started carving twenty years ago and was inspired to carve from a student who needed a school project. I helped her to carve a little 16" totem pole as she was studying the Indians. It made me want a totem of my own so I traveled to see a fellow who I had heard was carving with a chainsaw. Once I saw his carving I went home shaking with excitement. I got an 18' log and started carving and never stopped."
