The Ugly Duckling

Mother duck sat on a nest. The mother duck had an egg and it wouldn't hatch. The ugly duckling took over the usual time to hatch out of his egg. The mother duck said "Quack quack" to all her children. The Turkey came up to the mother duck and said "your duck is ugly" and in a month everyone said he was ugly. The ugly duckling was grey. His brothers and sisters were fluffy and yellow. The ugly duckling's sisters and brothers were not very kind. (The ugly duckling was a cygnet. A cygnet is a baby swan.) The ducks had yellow fluffy feathers. The ugly duckling's brothers and sisters were plump and fluffy. The ugly duckling's sisters and brothers thought he was very ugly. Back in the farmyard, things didn't go very well for the little duckling. His brothers and sisters teased the ugly duckling, so he decided to leave the barn. In the autumn, the ugly duckling left the farm. The ugly duckling jumped into a puddle, The ugly duckling hid in the reeds because he was frightened of the hunters. The ugly duckling got eXcited when the gun went off. The ugly duckling was very frightened because he nearly got shot. The dogs were coming. The duckling went to hide in the weeds because he was frightened. The ugly duckling's wings grew bigger and stronger. The ugly duckling was living on the lake. During the winter, the lake turned to ice and the ugly duckling was freezing. A hunter saved the duckling by cracking the ice. The ugly duckling flew around the kitchen, He knocked over the milk and fell in the flour, then he flew around the house. The ugly duckling went to sleep. ZZZZZZzzzzz. The ugly duckling met some wild ducks on the lake. In the spring, the ugly duckling saw his reflection in the water in the pond. He saw he was a beautiful swan. The ugly duckling looked really nice when he had turned into a swan, and he was very happy.
